International Children’s Day in the sanatorium “Dzherelny”
Today, June 1, is International Children’s Day. Every Ukrainian family dreams and hopes that Ukrainian children will have a real childhood and forget the word “war” forever.
Unfortunately, because of the Russian military aggression hundreds of children are dying in the country. Over the past 3 months, while there is a full-scale war, almost 700 children have suffered from the actions of the Russian occupiers. Therefore, this Children’s Day is perhaps more tragic than the 30-year history of independent Ukraine.
But we must care about the future and do our best to keep a peaceful sky over children’s heads and smiles on their faces.
#Hostline with Software Development Hub initiated fun activities for children at the Dzherelny sanatorium. For two days the kids mastered themselves in different kinds of activities within the “Fair of Professions”.
On the first day children had a great opportunity to feel like a chef and make their own delicacies and homemade lemonade. Then they tried their hand at a charity auction and sold their wares. The children donated the proceeds from the sale of the goodies to help children displaced from active war zones.
